Here is my first post on my blog, this first post is dedicated to my mother who has been my inspiration for life. Finally, after a long wait, also after pep talk from close friends, I am scribbling something over here. Also, please excuse my voice. Thanks to my husband who made me drink cold lassi before I started singing. He was so sweet, I just could not refuse, as a result - my voice conked and I had to record this song for Mother's Day.

This rendition is a kannada song, written by B.R. Lakshman Rao. It is about a child who pleads his mother to relieve him from her guardianship. The child wants to get out of its mother's clutches to explore life. The child says, no matter what, it will come back to her lap, back to the eternal love.
